Sep 05, 2008Content Processing - Script variables
Hi,
I would like to use some variables (user and password) in the "Sed processing script" to make an authentication (not standard POST).
Is it possible? It tried but doesn't work and I don't find anythind in the manual.
Thanks

Wow! I was just looking into doing the exact same thing. Apparently right now you can't do it but i've asked F5 for an RFE (Request for Enhancement) to support it. Will let you know how i go.

Thank you for the information. I hope it will not take too much time to add this feature!
But I'm not optimistic...

Hey Luc,
F5 support created a change request to support this - CR107047 if you want to track it. They can't give you a commit time but apparently you can 'subscribe' to the CR on the websupport portal so you'll receive a notification if anything is happening on the CR. I also mentioned that another user on DevCentral was asking for the same thing. They advise and recommend that you log a case also requesting CR107047. Apparently the more customers asking for the same thing the higher the chance this bubbles to the top of the 'to do' list.
Cheers,

Has anyone received an update for this CR or found a better way to handle credentials?
Thanks,
Dave
