Connection mirroring on a virtual server

I'm not sure I'm clear on how this works and hoping someone can help me out.

 

So in an HA pair you can specify a primary and secondary for mirroring. Is this the interface whose connections you want mirrored? So you may normally pick the external (client facing) connections as primary and the internal (server) as secondary?

    Hi Michael!

     

    Those are the interfaces used to send the connection information between the F5s. You enable the mirroring per virtual server. Just tick the check box called connection mirroring.
