ConfigSync for BIG IP with mismatching modules

Hello All,

 

I have a redundant (LTM+ASM) at the HQ and an ASM only at the DR. I would like to synchronize ASM policies to make sure they are consistent across all 3 devices. Is this possible knowing that I will have devices with different modules provisioned in the device group? I have opened a case where they told me it is possible, however the following link says the opposite. https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/8000/600/sol8665.html

 

Does this link apply for configsync only or for failover?
