Config Sync issues
Hi All,
I'm getting confused trying to enable config sync between two F5 BIG-IP 2000S devices. Its the first time I've done this, so bear with me!
I have been following this article https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/13000/900/sol13946.html but am still in the dark.
Basically, I can successfully peer the devices, add them to a device group and then initiate a sync. But it always fails as follows:
- Primary device (Source) attempts to sync but then returns to a status of "Awaiting Initial Sync" in the Sync Summary box
- Secondary device (Destination) indictaes "Sync Failed" followed by the message " load failover from [Primary_device] The requested vlan, vlangroup or tunnel [VIP_name] was not found"
I was under the impression that the config sync process could be used to push the config from a primary device to a secondary device, therefore the VLAN config does not need to exist already?
SW version on both boxes is 11.4.0.2384.0
Any ideas would be very much appreciated!

All sorted - easy when you know how! :-)
I had to add the VLAN, Self-IP and Route domain configs from the primary and then all worked perfectly. Thanks again for your help.
