Config Sync Issue
I have configured a new Partition X on standby LTM. Under the new partition we configured new nodes, pools and virtual servers. Now when I Sync the standby LTM to active LTM it gives me an error that the folder X dost not exist.
So does that mean I have to manually configure the partition X on both the LTM's ?

That means that you need to create the partition on both units.

You shouldn't need to do that, at least in the new versions.
Some objects are shared and others are not. Before v11, was easy to understand what was shared or not, because shared objects were saved in bigip.conf and non-shared objects in bigip_base.conf. From v11, some objects are saved in bigip.conf and other bigip_base.conf, what makes it more complicated to understand what is synced or not. As example, both non-floating (that is not shared) and floating (that is shared) self IPs are saved in bigip_base.conf in v11 or above.
I just tested in 12.1.2, I can create a new partition in the standby unit, and a pool in that partition. Sync from standby to active unit, and both partition and pool are synced.
