Config Sync is problematic

I have had really good luck asking questions here in dev central so I wanted to reach out about one of my most pressing issues.

I was curious if everyone had as much problems with config sync as I do. It seems that it mostly has to do with iApps, which we are encouraged to use when configuring for Exchange, VDI, Lync and those type of items but since then I have had nothing but problems keeping my HA pair in sync. That scares me to death because if the active unit should fail then I have no certainty that the config on my standby is accurate.

At this time my two of my three HA pairs are out of sync.

HA Pair 1

Active>Big IP 5000 Standby>Virtual LTM

Our F5 SE says that on our current version 11.5.1 we can create a HA pair between a physical and virtual unit. This pair is using the iApp f5.microsoft_exchange_2010_2013_cas.v1.4.0.

I am getting the error “Sync error on ptc-if5-v01.loves.com: Load failed from ptc-if5-p01.loves.com 01070710:3: Database error (13), Can't save/checkpoint DB object, class:sflow_http_virtual_data_source status:13 - EdbCfgObj.cpp, line 127.”

HA Pair 2

Active>Big IP 5000 Same iApp but I am getting the error “Recommended action: Synchronize ptc-df5-p01.loves.com to group device-group-failover-3673ad94592f”

I’ve have opened tickets but the TAC is not very responsive lately and some of them do not follow through with the ticket or call when they say they will call. I have had this issue, but not the same error message, four different times now. The process I used to fix it before is not working this time (touch /service/mcpd/forceload)

Is this common? Thoughts on getting these units back in sync?
