config file

Does anyone know if the config file is complatible in v4.5.10 build84-b to v4.5.10 build84-c. I was told that it wasn't. If not, how complicated would it be to upgrade to that build?

    Hi,

     

     

    Are you talking about using a bigip.conf or UCS from 4.5.10 build84-b on a 4.5.10 build84-c unit? I would guess that the change which triggered the build letter incrementing won't affect the ability to load a UCS from one version to another. If instead of a UCS you're talking about using a bigip.conf or bigip_base.conf file, it shouldn't make any difference which build the file is from. Just make sure to back up the configuration to a UCS file (using b config save file.ucs') and then load the new config file.
