Comments for Virtual Ip, Pool,Monitors

Hi All,

 

 

Just a small question

 

 

in LTM v9.0 and above , is there a command to add commnets to a Virtual IP

 

i know that the Virtual IP name is there , but want to know if we can add '' and type something like a comment that extends more than 32 characters .

    Hi Roger,

     

     

    There isn't the ability in any LTM version to add comments to load balancing objects. If you think this would be useful, you could open a case with F5 Support and ask them to add such a feature. For all objects, you can add a name but there are length and character restrictions which cannot be bypassed.
