Clientless VPN

Dear F5,

 

I am a bit confused when it comes to future support for SSL clientles VPN solution. As Chrome and MOzilla stopped support for NPAPI browser plugin does not work. I started looking into the issue and ended up on this article.

I am a bit confused what I read below. On one side it says F5 is looking for a solution and on the other side it says it will stop developing plugins and invest into the edge client. Can someone explain to me what is the future here? Does this mean we need to forget old good SSL VPN and use edge client as traditional cliet based solutions?
