Client Cert Authentication and NTLM SSO

We have per app VPN that allows only Client Cert Based Authentication. Backend Application (sharepoint) uses NTLM no Kerberos. Is there a way I can do NTLM SSO based on UPN received from Client Cert.

Are there any designs I can work at with Client Cert Based Authentication and NTLM.

  • Hi,

    NTLM SSO requires user password!

    Kerberos SSO doesn’t require password!

I guess adding Kerberos SSO on Sharepoint server is not complicated! I did it with other Microsoft servers (like exchange) and it was quite simple!
