Citrix XenMobile - App Controller Clustering

Hi Guys,

We are currently doing a migration for the Xen Mobile Application controller clustering and was wondering if any of you have some experience at it?

I am currently stuck at how to create content switching rules to forward traffic to separate pools of servers and to also keep its persistence. The Netscaler appliance seems to be doing all this work by making of use of Server ID (a unique identifier on the servers).

The netscaler is capturing this Server ID from either the cookie or the URL request that it is receiving from the client side. It then forwards the request to one of two virtual servers based on the whether the server ID has been found on either the cookie or the URL (This is set as first match with URL being the first check).

After successful identification of either the cookie or url the netscaler will forward the request to one virtual server or another. It will then check the value of the Server ID and match this to either one of the nodes inside the virtual server thus obtaining persistence.

Does anyone know if such configuration is achievable through the F5 appliace please?

(further information can be found in the following url --- App Controller Clustering --- Step 5)
