Hi Everyone,
I have recently upgraded our LTM environment from 10.2.2 to 11.1.0 and the setup is good but my Citrix environment started showing some problem.I will list them below,
1. As per the Implementation guide for Citrix on v11. The code that we have to change to get the client IP details when its changed on the Citrix servers and the application is accessed via VIP it gives the message that the servers are not available. On putting the code back to what it was everything starts working fine.I need to understand what is the problem causing this.
Can you please clarify this issue? There is absolutely nothing you would've had to change on your Citrix Web Interface/XML broker farm to have it load-balanced in v11 vs. v10.2.x - if the Implementation Guide suggestions otherwise, please let us know exactly where/what and ignore those suggestions for now.
2.The iAPP using the citrix template creates one pool called citrix_enumeration and created a tcp based monitor for it. This automatically created monitor bring this pool down. when removed and assigned a simple udp monitor everything starts working well. I need to understand what is the problem causing this.
It is possible that your Citrix servers have port 137 locked down and not responding to TCP? If this port is not enabled, it can cause slowdown/inability to launch appications. See the Citrix article here: http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX118670
3. Finally when the user hits the Citrix Web server VIP and logs in successfully and clicks on any of the application on the first click it returns an error to the user saying "your resource you have requested can't be found" when clicked again it invokes. I am not able to find a way to fix it.
Can this be as a result of any changes to the Citrix Web Interface/XML broker servers you did in issue 1? I think this is related to either 1 or 2 above. Can you launch the application when going directly to the Web Interface server? If not, then F5 is not a likely culprit here
This simple setup was working perfectly fine on ver 10.2.2 but it has like a never ending issue on this new 11.1.0 ios platform can any one help me out in this matter.
Regards,
