Cisco VFrame Data Center

Hi,

I'm new to F5, so I hope I'm posting this question into the right forum. I'm interested in Cisco's VFrame Data Center product:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps8463/index.html

At a high level VFrame is a "service orchestration" tool that looks to automate data center provisioning tasks that are typically manual and performed by many different teams today. Think of it as once place to assign a port into a VLAN, create a VM, zone the SAN, allocate & mount storage etc. etc., all through pre defined templates. Sounds very powerful. I've no idea if it works, but if it does even part of this it will be a compelling product.

A key part of this of course will be configuring load balancing/content networking services. I'm told that VFrame is defintiely not a "Cisco only" tool, and that it can talk to anything with a SOAP/XML.

So, has anyone out there done any work to make VFrame work with F5 products? Does it work? I'm really at a design stage and i'm looking for some help to validate all the info I'm getting from both vendors.

Thanks in advance for any info.
