Can we increase Maximum Entry lenght for UDP (syslog) in logging profile of ASM

HI,

 

Could someone please help here.

 

Can we increase the syslog(UDP) message size in ASM logging profile? When I select protocol as UDP Maximum Entry length field is grayed out and it can go only till 1k. If its TCP, I am able to change the size.

 

Is there any other way to change size for UDP profile? Currently our SIEM tool is not receiving full ASM logs/events and I need to increase the size.

    Mghouri, I believe that's a syslog/UDP limitation and goes against the RFC.

     

    I suspect you'll need to confirm which information in the asm messages you really need.

     

    Hope this clears it up.
