Can LTM 10.2.2 on 1600 hardware handle true gigabit speed traffic?
I have a pair of 1600 LTMs running 10.2.2 which I use to load balance Internet traffic, both inbound to DMZ servers and outbound for employee Internet browsing. Right now I am load-balancing three Internet circuits, two 20mbps and one 100mbps. I am planning to upgrade to two gigabit circuits. Can the 1600s handle true gigabit traffic, or do I need to upgrade or replace that hardware? I'd hate to buy gigabit circuits only to find the 1600s are the chokepoint. Thanks.

https://www.f5.com/pdf/products/big-ip-platforms-datasheet.pdf
from that document: L7 requests per second: 100K L4 connections per second: 60K Maximum L4 concurrent connections: 3M Throughput: 1 Gbps L4/L7
so although the specs say it is possible, in reality it will probably be tricky specially when use two time 1 Gbps links at the same time.
