Can I preserve an original URL by using profile rewrite and have it redirect ?

I have a url http://www.abc.org/test that currently redirects to https://www1.abc.org/test located on a different pool of servers.

 

I want to maintain url and redirect it to it's new page on www1.abc.org/test (so www not www1). Can I use the profile rewrite and then somehow redirect it?

 

Can you give me an example?
