Can an F5 ASM WAF or iRule block on the basis of Autonomous System (AS) number?
Env: F5 LTM appliances (4200 series) with APM, ASM. 11.5.2 (soon to be 13.x)
We're looking for a way to block accesses on the basis of the AS number associated with the request (eventually to be implemented on our firewalls, but as an interim). Can an ASM WAF config do so? Or is it possible via iRule?
thx

Hi,
Can you be more explicit please. As I understand, to do simple you try to blocked some request depending a specific number that is contain in the URI?
The AS number associated is contain in the URI (parameter) or it is in the body (POST)?
regards
