BIGIQ and REST API issues
Hi Team
ran into a weird issue today , wondered if some one could help me. was trying to discover a device using BIG IQ , tried adding a device and selected the option update firmware , and then the issue started.
BIG IQ version : 4.5.0 (build 3.0.7310 )
BIG IP LTM : its a vcmp guest on a 2400 chassis, 2250 blade , running BIG-IP 12.1.2 Build 0.93.249
and now turns out none of the ltm module queries work,
example --- works but
--- does not work
below is the error I get for /ltm related queries
errorStack": [ ": ;, "at ;, "at ;, "at ;, "at ;, "at ;, "at ;, "at $000(RestServer.java:45)", "at $1.run(RestServer.java:215)", "at java.util.concurrent.Executors$RunnableAdapter.call(Executors.java:471)", "at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.run(FutureTask.java:262)", "at java.util.concurrent.ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor$ScheduledFutureTask.access$201(ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor.java:178)", "at java.util.concurrent.ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor$ScheduledFutureTask.run(ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor.java:292)", "at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:1145)", "at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:615)", "at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:745)\n" ] }
any help is much appreciated ,
PS : this is a HA pair and the other node was not attempted to discover using big iq and ltm module queries work fine on it
thanks in advance

BIG-IQ version 4.5.0 does not support BIG-IP version 12.1.2, you need BIG-IQ version 5.0.0 or above for that. With BIG-IQ is safe to suggest the latest version, so use BIG-IQ version 5.1.0.

After the upgrade, add the BIG-IP device again, it should allow you to upgrade the REST framework after and fix the problem.
