BigIP Persistence Cookie not honoring specified expiration
We have created an HTTP Cookie Insert cookie that has an expiration of 20 minutes based on the "cookie" parent profile. We also unchecked the "Session Cookie" option. When I hit the site that has the cookie assigned to it shows the expiration date of 12/31/2099 and if I close the browser the cookie expires immediately. It seems like it is behaving like a session cookie when it should not be doing so. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would be happening? Thanks in advance.

Hi Kink, are you sure the BIG-IP date configuration is correct ?

Which browser are you using? Some browsers do not correctly process the Max-Age directive and require the Expires cookie directive to have the actual expiry string in "YYYY HH:MM:SS" format.
If you need to implement a non-session cookie, try changing the persitence type to universal and then add the cookie via an iRule.

Session cookie has no date, seems that the date is not accepted here. When you see the cookie s date is it at the browser level or on the application? Any irule on vs ?
