Dear All,
my configuration is like the http or ldap load balancing but it's not working!!!!!!!!!!
any help please!!!!
My Config is like this:
virtual vs_172_24_55_135 {
destination 172.24.55.135:53
ip protocol udp
pool dns_pool
}
pool dns_pool {
monitor all udp
member 172.24.67.10:53
member 172.24.67.11:53
}
- Colin_Walker_12Historic F5 AccountWhen you say this isn't working, what exactly do you mean? What sort of traffic are you sending to this Virtual and what is happening when it gets there? With some more details we may be able to help you figure out what's going on. As it is, there's not much info here to go on.

Are you pool members UP? Is your virtual UP?. Can you run tcpdump on the BIGIP specificallying looking for packers from client to vip and vip to pool members? - mister_65355

my problem now is the configuration of the monitor DNS??? - Colin_Walker_12Historic F5 AccountYou have lots of options for monitoring. You can simply check to see if the port is listening, you can send particular parameters in a send string and look for a certain response, etc.
