AdminThis is old and I have no idea if it works any longer, but I think it aligns with what you are wanting to do. It even analyzes iRules for pool designations and maps appropriately. Might be a start for you to consider modernizing/adapting? Perl+iControl(SOAP)+Graphviz
I wrote this up a while back, there is a (grainy) image that gives you an idea what it does.
