BIGIP backup on BIGIQ
I am trying to backup LTM (running on v12.1.1 HF1) on BIGIQ (v5.1) but for some reason while scheduling the backup it is not showing LTM in list of available device for backup. It is only showing BIGIQ nodes. I tried by clicking on device (under device management option), scheduling backup but still it doesn't work. Please let me know if there is anything else needs to be done.
I added LTM by adding IP address under device management option and then importing the config.

The Backup pages under System Management->Inventory will only show BIG-IQ devices. The Backup pages under Device Management->Operations will only show BIG-IP devices. Sounds like you were in the right place. The issue is that your BIG-IP doesn't show in the Available box under Devices after clicking Back Up Now or Schedule Backup? Are you trying to select a group or individual device?
