MVPit's depends on the client side, e.g. browser, to trust server's certificate or not.
you need to add letsencrypt CA certificate into the client's trusted root list to make the client software trust the server certificate.

im asking about certificate automation via BigIQ - thirdparty CAs , and how to use this to generate wildcard certifficates
