BIG-IQ - LTM Event Logging

In addition to original question above, what is the difference between a BIG-IQ DCD (Data Collection Device) and a BIG-IP Logging Node? Do I need either to collect, manage, and view events and alerts from 5 LTM's? Or will a single BIG-IQ system do this?

Thanks F5_Digger! Much appreciated. I've seen the data collection device referred to as a DCD and a "Logging Node" so I wasn't sure if those two terms referred to the same thing. I will looking into obtaining a DCD along with the CM.

Hi Dave, Yes. both of a DCD (Data Collection Device) and a logging node refer the same thing. BTW, DCD requires a license but it's free. To get the license, contact your local F5 SE.
