Big-IP VE edition for MacBook M4 Chip

As of now, F5 Big-IP VE (Virtual Edition) does not natively support macOS with the Apple M-series chips (ARM64 architecture) in a way that would allow for full deployment and usage like on Intel-based Macs or typical server environments.

However, there are a few potential workarounds you could explore:

Virtualization with Docker or VMWare: You might be able to run a virtualized instance of Big-IP VE on macOS through Docker (if an ARM64-compatible image is available) or VMware Fusion (which supports M1 and M2 chips). Although there’s no official support for Big-IP on ARM-based macOS, you might try running it in a virtual machine and see if it works for your use case.

F5 Cloud or Bare Metal: If Big-IP VE is essential for your setup, you may consider running it on F5’s cloud environments or on dedicated bare-metal hardware and accessing it remotely from your MacBook.

Testing on ARM-based Servers: While there is no direct support for ARM64 architecture with macOS M-series chips, you could test on ARM-based cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) to explore compatibility in those environments.
