Apr 07, 2015Big ASM logs - how to remove?
Hi,
I have issue with big log files (ok maybe it's relative but for my system it causing issue with /var/log having 82% space in use). Don't know the reason as well why log files listed below are growing and what is source of messages logged - can't find any sol related to it.
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 49M Apr 7 15:39 sendcmd.log
-rw------- 1 root root 48M Apr 7 15:20 checksums.log
-rwx------ 1 root root 48M Apr 7 15:39 dcc.log
-rw------- 1 root root 38M Apr 7 15:38 pabnagd.log
-rw------- 1 root root 33M Apr 7 15:39 nwd.log
-rw------- 1 root root 21M Apr 7 15:32 asm_config_server.log
-rwx------ 1 root root 18M Apr 7 15:39 bd_agent.log
-rw------- 1 root root 9.5M Dec 23 11:50 prx.log
-rw------- 1 root root 4.4M Apr 7 15:39 bd.log
-rw------- 1 root root 1.6M Mar 27 13:26 ts_configsync.log
-rwx------ 1 root root 1.4M Mar 31 17:01 bd_agent.log.1.gz
Some of the log files are listed in (sol14020) but not sendcmd.log, checksums.log, prx.log. It's 11.2.0HF7 VE running as Active/Standby. How to reduce size of logs?
