NimbostratusBest practice of manage configuration change via iControl and manual interaction
This sounds an Ops question, but it is important to me provided the situations:
- Had an orchestration system to manage bigip via iControl, with some control loop integrated
- Also has an app team like to modify the config preferably manual by the side
So what's the best practice to manage & define rights to both heads to provide reliable and trustable services, assuming all are to the same partition?

Most of the time when we talk about orchestration we address industrialized configuration and proven processes. So it means if you allow direct modification either you are in a fire and forget mode ( you use orchestration just for bulk first configuration phase) or you really take care of configuration state ( your orchestration tools is validating each time that what must be done could be done).
It s not like it s a bad idea. But it moves a little bit the industrialization concept behind orchestration.
