Batch add users to Big-IQ

I need to add many users to Big-IQ but unlike Big-IP it doesn't look like adding AD groups is enough - you have to add users individually. Is there a way to add users via the CLI or some other batch...

We're on 6.1 but that isn't how it is functioning. F5 also told me that you have to manually create the user after adding the AD group. How do you have your configs set that adding an AD group allows for user creation on login?
