Bash version upgrade
We are wanting to install a new version of bash on BigIP LTM version 11.4 and 11.6. Current version is GNU bash, version 3.2.25(1)-release. We are looking to get to version 4.x. Reason is, we are trying to run a IPtroll audit tool, that has a requirement for a later version. Anyone know if this is feasible?

In theory it should be feasible. I suppose that would break the "supportability" of your system by F5 support. The BIGIP should be seen as an appliance running a firmware. (https://www.f5.com/pdf/customer-support/maintenance-agreement.pdf)

that was another concern of mine. I would like to know for sure. Guess, I need to open a case with them to find out.
