bandwidth restrictions for specific host on Link Controller

Hello Everyone

I have the following situation with Link Controller where the customer has an specific application that generates massive email traffic and it is consuming the entire bandwidth on the link where traffic is going out to (There are 2 links 45 MB each)

 

The customer asked me if there is a way to set a threshold on the link to limit that specific application's traffic

 

 

 

To be more specific: The customer would like to set a threshold of 10 MB (out of the 45) for that specific host where smtp traffic is generating so that when it reaches this limit, traffic will switch to the other link, BUT allowing the other network traffic to continue using the rest of the link's bandwidth (the remaining 35 MB)

 

I've found documentation on how to set bandwidth restrictions on a link but the problem is that if a set the 10 MB thrreshold it will affect the entire link traffic

 

 

 

Can this be achieved via traffic class?, rate shapping? both?
