Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post this?
several users connecting to out firepass using avg 7.5 as their virus checker are able to login but there getting bombed out after 50 seconds (their browser just closes). other machines with different virus checker seem to work seemlessly.
we are running the latest OPSWAT and its only since then that we've had a few issues.
is anyone else suffering problems with avg?

I'm backing it off tonight.
Browser crashing/closing with AVG, Windows firewall not being detected, AVG 8 database age not being returned(CR99535).

Aaron - MJ_108460thanks, found that earlier! seems like the only solution is to uninstall the latest OPSWAT on the box....
what are the chances of a ptach/fix does everyone think? - Greg_Fuchs_3245Grisoft is not updating 7.5 as of the end of the month.
Based on that I think Opswat is not going to provide as fix for this.
Two choices are to upgrade to AVG 8.0 or backout the hotfix and downgrade the F5 pieces parts on the client.
If you upgrade to 8.0 you have the problem that the pre-login inspector does not report the AV database age until a fix is developed for that problem. You can get around that by modifying your prelogin sequence. - MJ_108460yeh i kinda assumed that after speaking to F5.
just hope theres a fix for the AVG 8.x database age issue soon! Don't want to modify the pre-login sequence.

I think that not being done is a problem of the mark corresponding to Database age in the help page.
If the display of the help page is not changed
I want you to describe to Readme no support of Database age.
