Auto launch Web Portal Favorite

Two ways we did this,

 

 

 

First way; using firepass citrix portal to access webinterface

 

 

Create a holding page that just says something like 'click here to access citrix', the link will point to https://***firepassdomainname***/vdesk/terminal/index.php3?res_group=***THE_RESOURCE_GROUP_THE USER_AND_CITRIX_PORTAL_SETUP_IS_IN***&res_name=***THE_NAME_YOU_GAVE_YOUR_CITRIX_PORTAL_RESOURCE***

 

 

now put this holding page in the firepass sandbox

 

 

now in portal access -> web applications -> Intranet Webtops, enable the group the user is in and chnage the url to https://***firepassdomainname***/sandbox/***holdingpage.html***

 

 

now when a user logs on they are presented directly with the holding page, when they click the link they go direct to the firepass citrix portal. (you need to be passing thru ad credentials)

 

 

 

 

Second way; Upgrade to 6.02 hotfix 5

 

 

now in portal access -> web applications -> Intranet Webtops, enable the group the user is in and chnage the url to http://internalwebinterfaceurl/

 

 

now when a user logs on they are presented directly cirtix webinterface.(you need to be passing thru ad credentials)
