ASP.Net Web Cache

I read this article today in Technet...

It speaks of using web caches specific to .net code. How far afield is it to consider using LTMs for this -- is it not the same, or are there deeper tweaks than turning on features on the LTMs?

    Have you taken a look at F5's web acceleration

    Briefly, but on an LTMs with a bit of overhead, I'm wondering if they couldn't do most of this on their own.
