ASM event logs

Hi,

 

I am using ASM with HSL option for all ASM events. version is 13.0.0 . as i understand we can not enable local logging like /var/log/asm for all these events untill i enable it manually. but it can impact performance.(https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K16053). is this correct? now in case of this scenario i cant get old event logs i mean say for 4-5 days back logs. if i install BiG-IQ ,can i use Big-IQ to send all ASM logs here instead of any syslog or SIEM.also is there any other good feature as per reporting which is limited in built in ASM report or schedule reporting?
