ASM error - policy builder is not running

 

We are having two LTMs with ASM in active/active mode (ver 10.1).

 

 

We have deployed security policy using policy deployment wizard.ASM is able to detect the file types and parameters.

 

 

Problem:

 

 

After some duration, the policy builder stops running.

 

Then we have to reconfigure the policy.Again it runs for sometime and then again the policy builder stops running.

 

 

Error: Policy builder is not running.

 

 

Any ideas what could be the possible cause?

    Hi Joe,

     

     

    I don't use the Policy Builder so I'm not sure why it would stop running. If you don't get an answer here, you might try opening a case with F5 Support on this.

    you can check log files and process it can be zombie process

     

     

    also you can stop start asm for workaround solution

     

     

    Note: Best practice deployment is Active-Standby
