NimbostratusASM as an IPS
I have an environment where my hosting network group would like to use ASM and an IPS instead of implementing ISS or TippingPoint. Has this been attempted?

CirrocumulusI did not quite get the question - the subject says "ASM as an IPS" and the message body says "ASM and an IPS" :-)
ASM is a Layer 7 Web Application Firewall and is not a Network IPS. Having said that BIG-IP platform does have some Network IPS features such as DoS attacks/ SYN flood prevention and dynamic connection reaping...
