Are there any plans to upgrade the version of TCL used in iRules?

Are there any plans to upgrade the version of TCL used in iRules? I noticed when trying to use the [clock scan] command that many switches, such as the format switch, are not supported. After investigating, I realized it is because iRules are using TCL 8.4.6, and the TCL documentation I was looking at was for 8.6.2. Any chance there will at some point be an upgrade in the TCL version?
