APM limited mode not working

Hello,

I just tried to apply a radius authentication on a website using APM on a Big IP 2000S. According to my informations, this should work for 10 concurrent sessions without a license (Resource provisioning tab shows "Limited mode available without a license"), but every test fails with the error message "Global concurrent access session limit reached" in the APM log. Is there something I can do about this?

Best Regards, Holger

  • Hello,

In fact, in your case, the Global concurrent access session limit reached is set to 0 and the enforcement feature deny access to the user. I already get this issue in some circumstances. For example, when licensing ASM standalone, I'm not able use APM limited mode although it is provisionned.

But when running LTM, I had no issues...

This limited mode is for demo only. You can ask F5 to get a demo license for 45 days.
