APM does not allow Sophos AV on client side checks

I'm implementing a new SSL VPN using APM for my company. However, during testing the client side checks don't allow me to log in. The AV check isn't allowing my Sophos AV even though it is allowed on the list. It's saying I have Windows Defender instead. Anyone have any experience of this or can help as to why Sophos appears to be getting blocked?
