APM 11.5.1.HF5 w/ Win8.1 & IE11
The SSL cert error is an IE generated page. The certificate and chain are 100% valid. The SSL Profile ciphers have RC4 disabled (DEFAULT:!RC4). The virtual server does not have SPDY enabled. It's rather generic otherwise.
And we do have a case open with Microsoft since Nov 2014. They haven't been overly helpful; with them bouncing it between their IE and security teams and back to us saying to engage F5. I'll open a case with F5 when they can show me evidence that there is an issue with the the APM.

Have you tried putting the domain in the trusted zone and/or removing protected mode from the zone to see if that makes any differences? I've seen where protected mode screws things up before. - Gilles_Archer_3Mar 10, 2015

We have tried both. We have since upgraded to 11.5.1.HF7
