See APM release notes and client compatability matrix for later versions of BIGIP. They will detail support for new client OS versions.

 

Go to search for "release notes" then select APM on the right hand side, then choose your version as well. Do the same again for APM client compatability matrix.

 

There is specific information on Windows 8.1 on the APM page for the current release . See the "Most Requested BIG-IP APM Articles" section.
