APM - LDAP Querry module - source IP address

I have a strange issue. We have a pair of F5 boxes. They only had a couple of self IPs and those were all local only. Recently we built two tunnels to AWS. There we defined self IPs to be used by the traffic selectors in the range 169.x.x.x. To have them redundant I have made them floating (the only floating IPs on the boxes). And this seems to have broken the LDAP Query module. LDAP queries are now sourced with an IP from the 169.x.x.x range. So I am guessing that floating IPs are preferred. Interestingly in the same policy we have AD query and there the source IPs continue to be the old non floating ones. As far as I can tell only the LDAP searches are affected in the APM policy. Is there a way to change the source IP?
