API rest to create self-signed cert

Hi, we need to be able to create self-signed cert automatically to have created needed folders in (/config/filestore/files_d/. The point is to have this folder created to be able to upload there SSL keys and certs and I would rather let F5 to create it. So is there any simple way how to create self-signed cert which would accomplish this for us?
