We have just recently setup LDAP authentication to a web app on our bigip. I noticed that every single request is authenticated to LDAP. This seems to cause quite a bit of traffic to the LDAP servers when we scale it up to hundreds of users logging in. Is there a secure way to save this infromation on the bigip and only query LDAP on the initial request? We like the idea of authenticating at the bigip but the current setup we have doesn't seem like it will scale to thousands of users logging in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That looks like it will for me. I had seen that example before just didn;t realize that it would work for what I need.
