Annoying messages after 13.0 upgrade: emerg logger: Re-starting ping_access_agent

Just upgraded AWS BIG-IP (VE) to v13.0. I'm getting a constant stream of annoying messages on shell sessions : "emerg logger: Re-starting ping_access_agent". I've done some digging on the issue and coming up empty. I believe these errors are related to the new "ping" APM integrations, but:

(1) Can't find how to "fix" the root cause.

(2) Can't find out how to disable display of the constant stream of alerts on the Shell (I know this is a NEWB question but have been through the TMSH and TMOS guides and can't find out how to disable alert/info/et al messages on the shell so one can actually find and fix the root cause.
