Alerting on SSL cert expiry
what is efficient way of setting up alerting on SSL certificates expiration. Need kind of alerting mechanism which will trigger e-mail prior to 1 month of expiration of SSL certs.

I think this is something everyone struggles with to an extent. Our team used a group calendar to setup reminders to renew certs, putting it on your own calendar, you can forget or be out of the office and miss the notification.

If you have an Enterprise Manager, you can setup a device alert to send SNMP, syslog, and/or an email when a certificate is X days (configurable) away from expiration.

i do not have ssl to monitor; anyway, since tmsh check-cert is run in weekly basis, i think it could be easy to configure alertd to send email notification.
