AFM ACLs in APM

Hello. Being that the ACLs in APM are fairly limited compared to a firewall (ASA, AFM, etc.) in terms of grouping objects, etc. is there a way to leverage AFM policies in APM and assign them via Resource Assign? I know there is not a direct way, but are there any slick workarounds out there in the wild? Thanks in advance.
