Advanced Resource Assign by iRule or exression

Hi there,

 

I am trying to figure out how to do an advanced resource assign without having to update the VPE. can you either use a session variable in the VPE setup or can you do this via an iRule?

 

I am using SAML and want to assign SAML resource but don't want to have to update the VPE every time I add a new one I would like to be able to dynamically assign it using some session variable logic. Is this possible?

    Hello,

     

    I didn't test it but if you control Report (Access ›› Overview : Access Reports), one user session you can notice that you have this var:

     

    session.assigned.resources.na for network access...

     

    Can you set an irule and try to assign an ressource.

     

    Before assign it using irule, do it trough VPE, check report to see what's var is used then do it using Irule.
