Add Service to Services List in GUI?

Is there any way to add a service to the System Services List in the GUI?     For instance we use the alertd service to monitor our pool nodes and send an email if nodes go down.   How...

I don't think so. You could open a case with F5 Support and ask them to consider including the ability to add new services to the GUI or to add alertd specifically. You could potentially write a simple iControl app to do it--but I'm guessing it would be easier to just use the command line.
