add pool member in a disabled state

Hi all,     Is there any way of adding a new pool member to an existing pool in a disabled state, rather than adding it enabled and then disabling it straight away?     Thanks in advance, ...

I know in version 9.x you can add a node, disable the node, then add the node to the existing pool. I remember thinking this same question in version 4.x but never to the time to determine if it was possible
